Helping Jimmy get a new start

Mel and Maggie couldn’t decide on what to do with Jimmy. In the end, they gave him a shot at a new life. He could take a potion that would allow him to make everyone see him as someone good.

Jimmy woke up at the end of the Charmed Season 3 premiere in London, England. A cop wanted to know who he was, and we quickly see that the potion has worked.

We get to see the Charmed Ones offer something good to Jimmy. In fact, we also get to see an “evil” being want to do something good in life. Will he remain that way?

Magic can’t solve everything

Julian doesn’t believe that magic won’t save his sister, so Macy decides to prove it to him. This leads to him choosing to join the side of the Charmed Ones instead of the Faction.

Leaving out the questions of whether they can trust Julian, I just want to say that I love writing this wrong that the original Charmed series had. By the end of it, the sister would use magic for all their problems. They faked their deaths, they killed people (or allowed demons to do it), and they continually used magic for personal gain despite being told not to.

Well, magic doesn’t solve everything. Magic isn’t there just for the Charmed One’s benefit. It needs to be used responsibly, and that’s what the Vera-Vaughn sisters try to do in this episode by not using the potion on Julian but giving him proof that magic won’t help his sister and his aunt is lying to him.
