Netflix hasn’t get confirmed Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, but there is hope it will happen. Here’s what we know about the potential season so far.

It’s hard to determine whether it will be a yes or no from Netflix about this one. Critics weren’t all that hopeful about the show, but it’s not just about the critics, is it? It’s about viewer numbers.

If enough people stuck around for the series, then there’s a chance Netflix will renew it. We’ll probably find out within the next month or two if it has been renewed. If it’s later than that, then it’s probably canceled. It’s just the way Netflix operates.

But if the show is renewed, this is what we know. The post will be updated as we get more news about Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 release date

Without a renewal, we can’t pin down a release date. Naturally, one hasn’t been announced. We can make an educated guess.

Under normal circumstances, we’d look at 14 to 18 months for a Netflix series to drop a new season. We’re probably looking at March 2022 at the earliest, but I’d say a bit later than that due to pandemic protocols while filming.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 cast

There’s no doubt that Abigail Cowen would return as Bloom for the second season. We’ll also likely see the return of Hannah van der Westhuysen, Elisha Applebaum, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt, and Sadie Soverall as her fairy friends.

Others likely to return are:

  • Lesley Sharp as Rosalind
  • Jacob Dudman as Sam
  • Danny Griffin as Sky

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet as nothing has been filmed. Expect this to come up about a month before the release date.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis, but we can use the ending to Fate: The Winx Saga Season 1 to get an idea of what to expect in Season 2.

Bloom and her fairy friends destroyed some of the Burned Ones at the end of the first season. It turns out that Rosalind is the bigger threat, though. She’s told lies and has some dark secrets, and the fairies will want to get to the bottom of that. It’s going to be a problem with Rosalind now in control of Alfae College.

Then there’s the big reveal that Sky’s father never died. He’s been training Beatrix. That will create drama of its own.

Expect a lot more of the power dynamics to shift at the school.
