Charmed Season 4 premiere date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

Charmed Season 4 is officially happening. Let’s take a look at what we know about the season so far, with updates coming as the news happens.

The CW opted to renew the majority of its lineup in February 2021, surprising many people. After all, the main slate of content didn’t premiere until January 2021. Most shows had two or three episodes, with some having none at all, and were renewed.

Charmed was among the renewals. Despite only two episodes of Season 3 airing, Charmed Season 4 is already confirmed.

What do we know about the season so far? Not much, but you’ll want to bookmark this post as it becomes a hub for all the news that will come.

Charmed Season 4 premiere date

There isn’t a premiere date just yet, and it’s hard to call when it will be for the 2021-2022 schedule. Season 3 didn’t premiere until January 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and The CW opting for a pandemic-proof fall. However, there are talks of the season being the full 22-episode season despite this.

If that happens, it could push the magical series to the mid-season permanently. However, The CW may have a change of heart and opt for a shorter season, allowing it to finish in the spring to get the show back to the fall.

Charmed Season 4 cast

We can expect Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, and Sarah Jeffrey to return as Mel, Macy, and Maggie respectively. After all, there’s no series without the Charmed Ones. We will also likely see Rupert Evans return as Harry (and maybe Jimmy) in the fourth season. The Charmed Ones need their whitelighter.

As for the other characters, that’s all up for debate. I certainly hope to see Poppy Drayton to return as Abigael. She’s been an excellent frenemy for the Charmed Ones so far, and there is plenty of room for development. She’s like Crowley was to the Winchesters in Supernatural, but I hope for some better storylines to come.

Charmed Season 4 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis for the fourth season, and there’s no way to tell what that synopsis could be just yet. We’re only just wrapping up the storyline from Season 2. In fact, Charmed Season 3, Episode 3 is what the second season finale was going to be. From there, we’ll get to see what the storyline is for the third season.
