2. Walker Season 1, Episode 4 recap: August discovers a surprising connection to Walker’s undercover life
August unearths an old cell phone and camera from Walker’s belongings while they finish moving into the farmhouse. He keeps it hidden from his dad while investigating. One of the photos shows Walker cuddled up to a mysterious blond woman. August later finds her photograph in the cellphone under the name Twyla. He sends her a text message to see if she’s still in contact with his dad.
When confronted, Walker tells August the truth. Twyla was part of his undercover mission, but he assures his son that it’s all over now. But later, he notices the cell phone under August’s bed and see’s a response text from Twyla.
She’s in town and wants to see “Duke Culpepper.” Walker doesn’t look too happy about that, and the preview for Episode 5 shows him having to slip back into his undercover persona to meet her at a nearby motel!
1. Walker Season 1, Episode 4 recap: Emily’s case might not be closed after all
The mystery of the poker chip and why Emily’s eyes were closed when they found her body was solved in a previous episode. However, at the tail-end of “Don’t Fence Me In,” Liam starts looking through Emily’s case files again.
He notices that Captain James pulled surveillance footage on Emily’s case recently, despite telling Walker to back off and try and move forward. Does that mean there is an overarching mystery going on here relating to Emily’s death?
