There’s a new doctor in town, and this one is supposed to be here permanently on Resident Alien. Is he too good to be true?

We knew a permanent town doctor would show up eventually. Harry never agreed to be there long-term, but her certainly threw himself into the role. He’s certainly not happy that he’s being pushed out of the job, despite him not actually wanting to be there.

This is clearly one of those cases where you don’t know how much you want something until you can’t have it. Harry doesn’t realize how much he likes being a part of this little community until he’s pushed out of it.

It’s no wonder he’s jealous of the town doctor. This new guy seems perfect. And therein lies the problem. Is this guy too perfect? What exactly is he hiding?

Could the new town doctor be another alien on Resident Alien?

Usually when a show is based on a comic book, we can turn to the source material for answers. That’s not the case here. The show is only very loosely based on the comics. It’s hard to say what’s going on with this doctor.

However, he does seem too perfect. All the women are swooning over him, he’s very quick to offer a second opinion, and he certainly loves to show off his language and medical skills. He seems a little too arrogant.

Is it possible that this guy is another alien? This could be where the connection back to the comics comes. In the comics, Harry is a normal and friendly guy. He doesn’t have the awkwardness that we get on the series. He’s a little like the new town doctor, hinting at potentially another alien has arrived on Earth, or has even been on Earth for some time.

With Harry getting caught by the military, is there a chance that something will come up? Could Harry end up pointing the military in the new town doctor’s direction to get rid of suspicion on him and then we find out the truth?

Or could the new doctor just be a regular guy who has some other sort of secret in his life? There has to be something, right?

dark. Next. Is a truce really happening on Resident Alien?
