Casey takes a knock to the head, and it could be far more serious than he says on Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 9. Don’t miss the all-new episode.

The promo only focuses on one part of the story for the episode, making it likely the biggest plot of the night. When a call goes wrong, Casey takes a hard knock to the head. He’s not wearing his helmet, but even if he was, it looks like this knock would affect him.

He’ll immediately suffer some effects from the knock, but he’s not going to say anything. It’s not going to take Brett too long to realize that something is wrong. In fact, there’s a point in the promo where she is clearly concerned about him.

As a paramedic, she’ll definitely get annoyed at Casey ignoring signs of a far more serious head injury. We’ll likely see him in Med at some point.

The synopsis also tells us a little bit about a potential comedic storyline for the episode. Four of the members of Firehouse 51 will need some additional training.

Why exactly do they need extra training? Well, let’s take a look at who the four are: Mouch, Ritter, Gallo, and Mackey.

Mouch, Ritter, and Gallo together would make sense. They are all firefighters and they may need to brush up on some of their skills. But why would Mackey get thrown in with them? She’s a paramedic, although is the newest member of the team.

Is it possible that Boden is looking out for the weaker members of his team? It’s not saying that he worries about them or wants them gone, but he wants to make sure the team is as strong as it can be.
