Everything coming to BritBox in April 2021
It’s time to get ready for a new selection of content on streaming services. Grace starring John Simm is among the list of arrivals on BritBox in April 2021.
April brings plenty of fresh content. Of course, there are also some old-school British comedies that are worth checking out. The catalog is growing considerably, making BritBox the place to be for British TV shows and movies.
There are a few notable arrivals on the streamer this month depending on what you’re interested in. Want comedy? Prefer a TV crime drama? The streamer has you covered.
Grace, Kate and Koji, and more
The first notable arrival is a new John Simm mystery. Grace follows the character Roy Grace created by Peter James, with Simm starring in the lead role. He’s a detective who has given everything to the job, but his career is at rock bottom. He focuses on long-forgotten cases, while the disappearance of his wife, Sandy, continues to haunt his memories.
When it looks like all is lost, his colleague Glenn Branson asks him to help with a case. Can they figure it out together? The first episode is a 90-minute offering. The second episode will drop sometime later.
For those who need a comedy, Kate and Koji is something to watch. Brenda Blethyn and Jimmy Akingbola star as the two titular characters, two unlikely friends. They come from very different worlds but are still very similar in ways they rail to recognize.
All six episodes will drop at once on BritBox in April.
Of course, with it being Easter during the first weekend in April, we can’t overlook Easter from Kings 2021. For those who relish the program on the Saturday before Easter, there is another performance from the King’s College Choir and a series of readings dedicated to the celebration.
