After a long wait, we’re finally getting more of the mystery of Flight 828. Don’t miss a beat of the Manifest Season 3 premiere on NBC tonight.

While it has been a long wait, we know that the wait is going to be worth it. Manifest is one of those shows that keeps us on our toes. What could have ended up being dragged down with purely a mystery about a plane time traveling has become a story of companionship, purpose, and love.

The Manifest Season 3 premiere will open up with Ben Cuba. He’s looking for a boat that has gone missing, and it happens to be named after the patron saint of lost things. Yep, that’s quite apt! Nice one, writers!

The boat is from Cal’s drawings. It clearly has something to do with Flight 828, but nobody knows why. Is it linked to the title of the episode, “Tailfin?” Have the owners of the boat found a part of the plane that blew up?

While he’s on the boat, he gets a calling. That calling involves Cal, Michaela, and some mysterious girl. It’s time for the three of them to head on a new mission to find this mysterious person.

Saanvi deals with her actions on the Manifest Season 3 premiere

As all that happens, Saanvi gets her own storyline. She no longer has the callings after changing her DNA. However, this is something bad. She now can’t follow the callings, which means she can’t perform whatever sacrifice she was supposed to before her Death Date. And that Death Date is looming over her.

She’s also feeling guilty for what happened at the end of the second season. Her actions led to the death of The Major, and as a doctor, that’s going to be hard to live with.
