Ms. Marvel release date, cast, synopsis, trailer, and more
By Sabrina Reed
The Marvel teen superhero is set to make a return to TV this year with the premiere of the Disney+ original series, Ms. Marvel, embiggening on the platform soon. It’s been years since Cloak & Dagger and Runaways took their bow ahead of the streamer’s launch, making way for a more integrated Marvel TV universe in the MCU.
Their absence triggered a glaring lack of young adult-focused superhero TV content for the Disney-owned brand, Kamala Khan is set to change that as the lead of her own show. What sets her apart from her fellow up-and-coming heroes, however, is that Kamala is just as obsessed with superheroes as we are on any given day.
That’s right, she’s a fan herself. A nerd of the highest order who walks into a gift every superhero fan dreams of attaining, super-powered abilities.
Also, as her name makes apparent, her story crosses with Captain Marvel’s. The question of how that will come to pass is currently under wraps, but the time for its reveal is approaching. Here’s what more we know about Ms. Marvel‘s lands on Disney+.
