What will you be watching on Netflix this weekend? It’s the first weekend of May 2021, so surely Netflix has some big features planned! Let’s see what there is to stream beginning tonight, Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2, 2021.

How did you enjoy April 2021? Which Netflix movies and shows were your favorites from April? At Hidden Remote, we enjoyed Thunder Force, The Circle season 2, and Shadow and Bone. Sure, there are a few more, but these three are at the top of our list!

Is Netflix your go-to streaming service for movies and shows? Disney Plus has been holding our attention with Marvel content, and HBO Max continues to have the best movies. But for variety, you can’t go wrong with Netflix! To this day, it is undefeated.

It’s obvious from our top three list alone that Netflix offers the best variety, we included a reality competition series, a comedy, and fantasy. What more could you ask for?

  • The Mitchells vs. the Machines, April 30
  • The Disciple, April 30
  • The Unremarkable Juanquini season 2, April 30
  • The Innocent, April 30

  • Back to the Future trilogy, May 1

I know what you’re thinking, all that hype for nothing! Well, the streaming titan may not have too much happening this weekend, but that’s okay! It’ll be entering May with some great features.

Additionally, don’t forget to watch the latest episodes of The Circle season 2, episodes 1-12 are now available. The finale premieres on May 5. There’s also a new horror movie, Things Heard & Seen worth checking out!

While Things Heard & Seen does not offer many scares, it’s perfect for those who enjoy light horror and prefer more of a story. The movie stars Amanda Seyfried and James Norton.
