Severide and Casey team up to investigate suspicious fires involving pet food on Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 14. Don’t miss a beat of the episode live.

When it comes to suspicious fires, you know that Firehouse 51 is going to step up to investigate. And you just know that Severide is going to be one of those doing the investigating. After all, as much as he doesn’t want to work in arson, he can’t help himself use those skills that he has.

I’ll be honest and say I wouldn’t be surprised if when Chicago Fire comes to an end (whenever that may be!) Severide realizes that he should move into arson investigation.

He’s not alone in this investigation, either. We get a team-up with Casey. It’s been a while since that’s happened. In fact, the last time was the fires at laundromats. In that episode, it turned out there was something suspicious about the detergent. Let’s hope that the pet food in the factor hasn’t been tampered with!

While the main investigation happens, there is going to be at least one side story happening. C’mon, we need the humor, right? During the previous episode, we got to see Cruz learn how to swaddle a baby—and yes, Herrmann being a father of five was most definitely made him a pro!

It turns out that it’s the annual garage sale at Firehouse 51. This has everyone on edge for some reason. Why does it possibly have them all on edge? What could possibly go wrong when it comes to a garage sale?
