Chicago Fire Season 10 is officially happening. That is something we do know. What else do we know about the new season so far?

NBC renewed the flagship One Chicago series back in March 2020 for three seasons. Chicago Fire Season 10 is the second of those three seasons, and it will be in the works soon. Now it’s time to look at what we can expect from the new season.

Admittedly, we don’t know a lot right now. At the time of writing this, we’re getting into the final weeks of Season 9. NBC hasn’t even announced its fall lineup just yet, but we can make some guesses and assumptions based on how the current season has performed.

You’ll want to bookmark this post. We’ll be sure to bring all the latest updates as they happen.

Chicago Fire Season 10 premiere date

We’re expecting NBC to return to the usual TV schedule for the 2021-2022 season. That means we’re looking at the end of September for Chicago Fire Season 10 to premiere.

There’s no reason to believe that won’t be the case right now. While it will depend on the pandemic, filming is slowly returning to normal, especially with the vaccines. There’s a strong possibility of the One Chicago shows returning to filming in July 2021 to allow for a September start.

We’re expecting the show to remain as the middle Wednesday night drama. There’s no need for NBC to change up One Chicago Wednesdays. We’re also not expecting the stop-start season that we had this season.

Chicago Fire Season 10 cast

The cast is likely to return. However, it’s worth noting that we’ve been promised a major ending similar to those of the past. This could mean one of Firehouse 51’s own could be written out.

Who will it be? That’s hard to say right now. We’ll need to see how the Season 9 finale ends before we can make any assumptions.

Chicago Fire Season 10 trailer

There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet. That’s not surprising since it hasn’t started filming yet! Expect a trailer closer to the premiere date, so around late summer.

Chicago Fire Season 10 synopsis

Also, there isn’t a synopsis out yet. We’ll want to see how Season 9 ends before looking at what could happen on Season 10.
