When it comes to bubble shows, Good Girls is one we’re holding some hope for. What do we know about Good Girls Season 5 so far?

Good Girls is one of those shows that doesn’t perform that well linearly. However, it’s amazing in streaming, and that’s why it continues to be renewed.

Deadline has me concerned right now. NBC is looking more at the linear ratings this season than the streaming ones. It’s a flaw with broadcast networks, but the pandemic has caused a few problems that has arguably led to looking back at linear ratings. With Good Girls not a strong performer here, it puts the show at risk.

Hopefully, a streamer will step it. NBC and Netflix already have a deal, so it would make sense to put the series straight there. I hope Netflix agrees with me on this one!

With that in mind, we’re looking at everything to know about Good Girls Season 5. We’ll update this as we get more information.

Good Girls Season 5 premiere date

If NBC does renew the show, we’re looking at it remaining as a midseason series. Previous seasons have premiered in February and March, so we’d be looking at the same.

If Netflix picks up the series, all bets are off! The series has filmed as its aired in many seasons, and that causes a problem for Netflix, which likes the full season drop. So, we’re probably looking at summer 2022.

Good Girls Season 5 cast

There is absolutely no doubt that the following three leading ladies will return:

• Christina Hendricks as Elizabeth “Beth” Boland
• Retta as Ruby Hill
• Mae Whitman as Annie Marks

There just simply isn’t a series without the three of them. We can also expect the following to return:

• Reno Wilson as Stanley Hill
• Manny Montana as Rio
• Lidya Jewett as Sara Hill
• Matthew Lillard as Dean Boland

What about the law enforcement after them? There’s always someone new introduced, so look out for them!

Since the season isn’t confirmed yet, there isn’t a trailer just yet. We’ll be sure to bring that when it is available.

Good Girls Season 5 synopsis

We don’t know how the fourth season is going to end. Will the women get caught and jailed by the end of the season? Will they end up joining Rio full-time? We’ll have to wait and see, but it will affect the storyline for Season 5.
