It’s an end of an era within the Bachelor Nation franchise. After being temporarily removed as host, Chris Harrison will not return.

Deadline shared the news about Chris Harrison not returning as host for any of the Bachelor Nation shows. It comes after the controversy and backlash faced during a tumulous season of The Bachelor. Shortly after, Harrison announced that he wouldn’t host The Bachelorette Season 17.

This was only supposed to be temporary. Although, I will admit that I enjoyed seeing two former Bachelorettes co-host the series. It added a little more understanding for Katie, and I look forward to what’s to come up.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Bachelor in Paradise is going to be like. That series will see David Spade guest host, which was supposed to show that Chris Harrison would return. Now that’s not going to happen.

Who will replace Chris Harrison in Bachelor Nation?

The details for the future of the Bachelor franchise aren’t clear just yet. To be honest, the news has only just broken about Harrison not returning as a host. There has been a big deal made for him to walk away from the franchise after 19 years.

Could we see alternating hosts each season? That could be difficult for consistency, but it could also be a fun way to shake up the show. After all, the drama within the house is starting to get a little irksome. I miss the earlier seasons of the series sometimes.

We’ll have to see how The Bachelorette Season 17 continues. Having former contestants from Bachelor Nation could be a good thing if they’re able to host well.
