The first spy film on our list, Casino Royale brings the story back to an earlier moment in the franchise where we follow James Bond on his first mission after receiving his Agent 007 status. Bond’s assignment is to use a high-stakes poker game to bankrupt his target, but because of his inexperience, Bond finds himself vulnerable to his enemy.

We follow Max as he seeks revenge on a biker gang who murdered his family, leading him to live in solitude in the Wasteland. Its visuals and action sequences are complex, and the film was praised by critics for its wild nature.

Mad Max is the original film in what sparked a trilogy of sequels, including the popular Mad Max: Fury Road that premiered in 2015. Though the sequels are not currently available on the platform, Mad Max is one of the available classic action movies to stream on Netflix right now.
