The weekend means new movies are arriving to theaters (and streaming). Do you know what you’ll be watching? Between movies in theaters and films available on streaming services, you’ve got plenty of choices, so we’re here to narrow things down for you.

The fifth installment of the Purge franchise is hitting theaters this weekend. After years of the franchise’s concept, from being inside to outside to even how it was created, the franchise takes it further with people committing crimes outside of the annual Purge. Chris Pratt is back on well, the small screen with his brand new movie debuting on Prime Video, The Tomorrow War. He stars in this action-packed movie that places in him the center of saving the world.

The R.L. Stine books were a HUGE part of my childhood, and this Friday on Netflix, they debut Part 1 of 3 of the new Fear Street movie series. The first installment will be set in 1994, centered around teenagers realizing how a series of haunting events may be all connected.

If you couldn’t catch, Let Him Go in theaters or on-demand at the end of last year, it is coming to HBO Max this weekend. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane star in this intense thriller where they are trying to save their grandson after losing their son. Lesley Manville delivers one of the best villain performances you will ever see in this.
