Peacock has plenty of content to keep any subscriber entertained for hours, but Dr. Death is possibly its best series yet. If you haven’t watched it, missed out no longer! All episodes of Dr. Death season 1 are now streaming on Peacock.
After binge-watching all the episodes, fans are left feeling uncomfortable by how the events played out. No recent horror series or movie has made me cringe or look away like Dr. Death does. Needless to say, Joshua Jackson’s portrayal of the disgraced doctor is stellar!

Is Dr. Death a true story?
Unfortunately, yes. Dr. Death is based on a true story and the series does a pretty amazing job breaking down the facts without glorifying the villain (unlike many other projects, such as Ted Bundy).
While many events are dramatized to add to the story, the crimes and malpractice done by Duntsch are very real. I especially love how we get to hear stories from the victim’s perspective and get to learn more about them each episode.
After Randall Kirby (Christian Slater) and Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) challenge the healthcare system, Duntsch was finally stopped. Justice, sadly, came too late for his victims.
