American Horror Stories on FX on Hulu is four episodes down and fans are having mixed feelings. What new horror will American Horror Stories episode 5 deliver? Here’s what the episode is about and how to watch.

The first three episodes are fine, but episode 4 was a cringe-fest that truly wasted Danny Trejo’s talents. There was so much potential. But we’re moving on! What we love so much about the concept of American Horror Stories, is that there’s a new horror thrill every day.

Instead of focusing on one story each season, every episode of Stories introduces a new story. That said, we can forgot about the mess that is episode 4 and move on to episode 5.

Have you been enjoying the spin-off series so far? Hang tight! American Horror Story season 10 premieres on August 25 — and we can’t wait! On the bright side, Stories has been feeding our horror appetite while we wait. It’s definitely better than nothing.

American Horror Stories episode 5 synopsis and cast

Episode 5 is titled “BA’AL,” and the official synopsis is short to keep fans eager and in the dark, so let’s speculate!

Synopsis:

"“A wife does the unthinkable for a chance at a successful pregnancy.”"

The episode stars Billie Lourd, Virginia Gardner, Ronen Rubinstein, and Chad James buchanan.

Okay, so much to unpack here! It looks like we are getting into darker subjects, which I’m here for! Let’s forget all about Bro House and move on to this new horror. What exactly could “the unthinkable” be? And by “successful” pregnancy, I imagine there was pain and loss before. Needless to say, this is going to be an emotional ride!

Can we also talk about the cast? Billie Lourd! A latecomer into the American Horror Story franchise, but a loved one! Virginia Gardner may also sound familiar, fans may recognize her from Marvel’s Runaways and the 2018 movie Halloween. 

What time does American Horror Stories episode 5 come out?

Episode 5 will release on FX on Hulu at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021. All other episodes will follow this schedule, and after its out it’ll be available to stream (along with previous episodes) on FX on Hulu.
