Another fantastic episode of Ted Lasso is in the books! Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 gave fans plenty of sweet moments and LOL-scenes. The biggest highlight for me? Meeting Led Tasso! Let’s recap the episode by remembering the best moments.

Ted Lasso is the most-watched streaming series at the moment, according to Reelgood. And knowing the competition and number of shows and streaming platforms these days, that’s very impressive, but are we truly surprised?

The Apple TV+ heartwarming comedy is a hug waiting for us at the end of a long and stressful week! If you aren’t watching, you’re missing out!

Please note there are spoilers ahead if you missed Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3, “Do the Right-est Thing.”

Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 best moment No. 5: Ted’s innocence

Ted Lasso’s innocence continues to warm our hearts while also making us laugh out loud. The AFC Richmond coach has come a long way, and you can tell by how the press treats him. They are more calm, respectful, and ask actual questions.

At the moment AFC Richmond is on a streak of draws, which a reported asks Ted about. Not understanding the question, Ted replies that he has never been embarrassed about “streaks in drawers,” sharing that it’s all part of growing up. A very confused and disturbed reporter slowly sinks back into his seat.

Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 best moment No. 4: Nora

Nora is a whole moment! We love this little girl! In episode 3, Rebecca’s goddaughter, Nora, came to visit and spend some time with her “aunt Stinky.” Right away, we know Nora is fabulous.

Nora is clever, thoughtful, loving, and she has inspired all of us to be a “boss a** bi***,” like Rebecca!

Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 best moment No. 3: Dubai Air can suck it

We’ve had our eye on Sam Obisanya since the start, but he truly shined the most in this episode and we are all on his team!

After learning that Dubai Air, Richmond’s biggest sponsor, is owned by an oil company that is destroying Nigeria and corrupting the Sam’s country, Sam decides to pull out of his campaign with Dubai Air and even blacks out “Dubai Air” in his uniform with black tape.

Way to take a stand, Sam, but this also brings us to another favorite moment…

Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 best moment No. 2: AFC Richmond united!

We love to hate Jamie Tartt, but after episode 3, we truly just love him. No hate. Just as Ted predicted, Jamie is a changed, better man (he has even started therapy).

When Jamie learned why Sam was standing up against Dubai Air, he blacked out the logo on his uniform, too! He tells Sam that they are a team and everyone else began to do the same. Love to see it!

At the press conference after the game, Ted Lasso says it like it is! Ted shares that he is not mad about what Sam did at all. Ted tells the press that, if something were to happen to someone like him (a white person) everyone would be writing about it and even trying to help and change things. Sam then takes the stage and brings attention to what is happening in Nigeria, making his parents very proud.

Ted Lasso season 2, episode 3 best moment No. 1: Meet Led Tasso

In an attempt to help Jamie, who is now the one being picked on, Ted decides to become Led, a mean, strict, angry machine! In Ted’s logic, he is giving the team a common enemy so that, instead of being mad at Jamie, they’d be mad at him, together.

Fingers crossed there’s need to bring back Led Tasso again in another episode.

Memorable moments:

  • Ted thought, for just a moment, that Nora was his daughter since he slept with her mom, Sassy. Your math is way off, Ted.
  • Chuck E. Cheese is Charles Edgar Cheeserton III in England, according to Ted.
  • Richmond has broken their draw streak with a loss. Hey, look on the bright side.
  • Roy Kent and Rebecca shared a sweet moment chatting about Nora and Phoebe. Roy Kent is always a joy to see!
