Need more Jason Momoa on your screen? Apple TV+ has you covered at the end of the week with See. Is it suitable for kids? What is the See Season 2 age rating?

There’s no doubt that we’ll take more Jason Momoa on our screens. With the release of Sweet Girl last week and the release of See Season 2 at the end of this week, August is certainly a good month.

You’ll want to watch the Apple TV+ series as soon as you can. Does that mean you can watch with the kids around, or will you need to wait until they go to bed?

It’s worth looking into the See Season 2 age rating to see what it’s officially set at. We also look at why the age rating is set as it is so you can make your own decisions for your own children.

See Season 2 age rating

The official See Season 2 age rating is TV-MA. This is the same as the first season. This is the equivalent of an R-Rated movie, which means it’s designed for 18+. However, there are some countries that set the age rating lower, with some set as young as 12!

What’s the reason for the U.S. age rating? It’s linked to the violence, the nudity, and the intensity of some of the scenes.

This is a violent show. The violence is one of the main reasons for the more mature audiences. There are some very graphic moments throughout the first season, including the beheadings of characters and maulings. If you regularly watch shows like The Boys or The Last Kingdom where the violence can be on the high side, this is probably around about the same.

There is some sex and nudity throughout the series. Likewise, you’ll experience a lot of swearing and frightening scenes. It’s not for the faint of heart, but you can make a decision for your own children.
