Paramount+ announces new original series Guilty Party. When does the dark comedy premiere and what is it about? Here’s everything we know so far.

Streaming platform Paramount+ has another promising series we need to keep on our radar. Earlier this year, Deadline broke the news about the service from ViacomCBS having a dark comedy in the works, which is, personally, one of my favorite genres.

Guilty Party release date: When is Guilty Party coming out?

Mark you calendars! The new series is debuting on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, as a Paramount+ exclusive. So, to watch, you’ll need an account. Check it out with a free trial so you can see what else the streaming platform has to offer.

Guilty Party will be a half-hour “genre-bending” original series that will consist of a 10-episode first season.

The series stars Kate Beckingsale, Jules Latimer, Geoff Stults, Laurie Davidson, Andre Hyland, Tiya Sircar, and Alanna Ubach.

Guilty Party synopsis: What is Guilty Party about?

The upcoming Paramount+ follows discredited journalist Beth Burgess (Beckinsale) who, in an attempt to salvage her career, picks up the story of a young mother, Toni Plimpton (Latimer), who has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her husband. Plimpton claims she didn’t commit the crime, so Burgess decides to investigate and, hopefully, uncover the truth, but is she in over her head?
