If you guessed Carmel was behind the attacks on Marsha, you’d be right. It turned out she was the one who shot Marsha in the parking lot all those years ago. And Carmel is now back to finish the job since she didn’t succeed the first time.
It doesn’t seem all that logical when it comes to the narrative. Carmel isn’t the most self-contained in her anger, so it seems odd that she’d be able to pull off plans to attempt to kill Marsha. But this is the narrative the writers have gone with, and we’ll just have to roll with it.
What to expect on the Nine Perfect Strangers series finale
We are onto the series finale. Well, that is as of right now. Nine Perfect Strangers is billed as a limited series. If you look at other works David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman have done, they were billed as limited series. However, some of them have ended up with second seasons when there is a storyline available. Not all of them have, though. We’re not expecting Nine Perfect Strangers to be renewed.
This is going to depend on how things end with the finale. It looks like the focus is on the Marconis still. Marsha wanted the Marconis to see Zach so she could figure out the necessary dose to see her own daughter. Will it all go wrong for Marsha in the end?
It’s not just about the grieving family, though. Everyone has their own demons, and they all need to face them in full before they leave the wellness retreat.
