Halloween season means breaking out all of the beloved horror classics, but not every horror film is scary. Some are weird, some are funny, some are terrifying. And then there’s Beetlejuice. Tim Burton’s 1988 dark comedy about a newly dead couple trying to take back their former home, and a young girl who becomes captivated by the home’s unusual occupants. Here’s what you need to know if you want to stream Beetlejuice this Halloween season.

Beetlejuice is available to stream on Hulu Plus and Peacock. You can also rent or buy the movie from Amazon Prime, Vudu, Google Play and iTunes.

Here is how to stream Beetlejuice this Halloween

Beetlejuice features Michael Keaton as the “bio-exorcist” expert hired by a recently deceased couple, played by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin. They need his unusual brand of expertise to get rid of their home’s new occupants, the Deetzes.

The Deetzes’ teenage daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) is intrigued by the mysterious ghost and his over-the-top antics, which makes things even more complicated as her parents dig in their heels to get their new home under control.

Beetlejuice features an all-star cast and a zany plot. It was popular from the start, but it has really gained a cult following over the years and now it’s a multi-generational horror classic that finds new fans every year.

Like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice is a classic Tim Burton film with many of his signature elements sprinkled throughout. There is stop-motion animation, dark humor, double entendres galore and brilliant performances from Keaton, Ryder and the rest of the cast.
