Monday night on The Voicethe Blind Auditions continued as this season’s hopefuls continued to take to the stage in hopes of wowing the coaches in order to secure a place on one of this year’s teams.

There were some incredible performances leaving the coaches to pull out all the stops in hopes of swaying the artists to their team. Across the episode, Blake, Ariana and John all managed to add two new artists to their teams while Kelly picked up one additional artist for her team — though, those totals will change at the top of tonight’s new episode as Monday’s episode ended with a cliffhanger.

As the night ended, artist Holly Forbes was about to select her coach following a four-chair performance which resulted in the final block of the Blind Auditions being used when Ariana blocked John. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to find out which coach Holly will be selecting as season 21 continues this evening with a fresh new episode.

Although last Tuesday night’s episode was 2-hours in length, this week it seems NBC will be transitioning The Voice back to its usual 1-hour episode runtime for tonight’s episode.

The move back to 1-hour episodes comes as NBC looks to free up the 9 p.m. timeslot for its newest original drama, La Brea which will be airing behind new episodes of The Voice every Tuesday night this fall.
