Things weren’t so great for Devan on The Resident Season 5 premiere. He ended up in a room full of some sort of gas, and nobody realizes that he’s trapped there. He does manage to get out, but is it going to be in time?
The doctors and nurses of Chastain will need to work together to help save him. They’ll also have the other patient in the room, and will need to deal with what that gas actually is. It clearly made others on the floor sick with it leaking out of the room, but what is actually going on?
Kit searches for a new neurosurgeon on The Resident Season 5, Episode 2
Meanwhile, Kit is on the hunt for a new neurosurgeon. With everything that happened to Cain during the previous season, she needs to find someone to take his place. It can’t be Billie because she’s still a resident training, but who will it be?
Bell will step in to help with this. Can they clear that tension between them after Bell asked Kit on a date?
We also have a lot of questions about Nic. During The Resident Season 5 premiere, we found out she was on a spa trip. However, we know that Nic is leaving, but she’s not just going to suddenly disappear is she? She won’t just leave Conrad and the baby. With the cops turning up at Conrad’s door, there’s only one way Nic is likely to be written out, and it’s going to be heartbreaking.
