Max has to deal with his hospital changing because he’s leaving on New Amsterdam Season 4, Episode 4. Don’t miss a beat of the all-new episode.

For the moment, it looks like Max really is leaving. Dr. Fuentes is in as the new medical director, and Max is concerned. This woman is all about money and corporate greed. She doesn’t care about the patients, and that’s made clear in the promo for the new episode.

Now Max will have a big decision to make. Will he follow his heart and go to London leaving New Amsterdam Hospital in trouble, or will he stay and let Sharpe leave alone?

Max wants to prevent Fuentes being the new medical director, but will anyone listen to him before it’s too late? This could be a ploy to get him to stay.

Sharpe wants to get cancer patients in right now on New Amsterdam Season 4, Episode 4

Meanwhile, Sharpe is on a mission to look out for her cancer patients. She needs to get them in for screenings.

Something that we all know is that cancer patients were put in limbo during the pandemic. You may have lost someone to cancer because screenings didn’t happen when they should have. I certainly did, and it still angers me that this pandemic meant other very real problems were brushed to one side.

Sharpe doesn’t want to see any more screenings missed. She wants to do follow-ups on her patients before it’s too late.

While that goes on, we’ll see more of Bloom and Shinwari. As a resident, Shinwari’s schedule is going to be crazy, and Bloom is going to have to deal with that. Sometimes, she just can’t offer special treatment.
