Batwoman season 3 premieres tonight on The CW!
The show is swinging back into action with a plot that’ll incorporate the Batman trophies that are now lost in Gotham. They’re not the kind of items you want lying around where anyone can grab them or use them for nefarious purposes.
Too bad this crime-riddled city never lets sleeping dogs lie because Ryan and Luke (the newly established Batwing!) are going to have their hands full and not just with keeping the city safe. Some new adjustments are being made to the team as Alice finds her place on it.
Can these do-gooders and the woman who’s notorious for being madder than a hatter truly work together to protect Gotham? And how will Mary fair with this new arrangement given her and Alice’s history? Things are certainly going to be rather tense on Team Bat this season.
Also, we can’t forget that Ryan found out her mother is very much alive. Will her biological mom turn out to be Robin Givens’ character, Jada Jet? Signs seem to be pointing that way but this show loves a twist. Perhaps Ryan will get some answers when she befriends Jada’s son, Marquis.
With how this season kicks off, we can only guess where the chips may fall, but we do know the premiere is set to suck us in! Here’s what more we know about the season 3 opener.
What is the Batwoman season 3 premiere about?
The Batwoman season 3 premiere, “Mad as a Hatter,” will see the new Bat team-up finding its sea legs as Luke goes through his own struggles transitioning from “Guy in the chair” to in-field crime fighter.
As cool as his Batwing supersuit is, it doesn’t automatically mean that he’ll have it all together when trying to keep Gotham safe. Being on this side of the action isn’t going to be easy for him as he tries to navigate what kind of hero he wants to be and gets used to his suit’s abilities.
Meanwhile, Alice will be contemplating next steps…or rather how many steps it takes to walk from one end of her room in the Asylum to the next. She’s used to being about town and now she’s been institutionalized. It’s a lot to wrap her mind around.
Sophie will be having the opposite problem. Now that she’s left the Crows she can enjoy this new found freedom. But, given how structured and routine her life had been, how long will that joy last in the face of the unknown? What does Sophie do now that she’s free? Who will she become?
