Who is Cody Fern playing in American Horror Story: Double Feature?
Cody Fern has played some memorable roles in the American Horror Story universe over the years, and his new role as Valiant Thor in American Horror Story: Double Feature is just as memorable.
In the Death Valley story, Fern plays a mysterious liaison between the aliens and the humans, and while he might not be “real” he leaves a big impression wherever he goes.
Aliens arrive on earth during the Eisenhower administration and they make a deal with the president to keep the peace but to also pave the way to make earth the home of their future generations of alien hybrids.
The plan involves allowing the aliens to kidnap and impregnate a relatively small number of Americans in exchange for priceless information about the future, future technology, and the promise of coexistence between the two races. Valiant Thor is there to make sure things flow smoothly.
Who is Valiant Thor on American Horror Story: Double Feature?
Fern’s Valiant Thor is a handsome man who appears to be wholly human, but he’s actually a robot who is there to make sure “the business at hand” is dealt with efficiently. He also falls into bed with Mamie Eisenhower to give her the best sex of her life.
His primary objective is to ensure that the aliens can create a hybrid race of aliens that can withstand earth’s climate and allow them to thrive as the last of their kind succumb.
Fern is one of the newer members of the cast but he’s made quite an impression. His debut in season 8’s American Horror Story: Apocalypse as the Antichrist Michael Langdon (the baby from season 1’s Murder House all grown up) was incredibly memorable, and he was pure fun to watch in AHS: 1984 in season 9. He also blew people’s minds with his real Australian accent in an episode of the new AHS spinoff American Horror Stories.
Given his robotic roots, Fern’s Valiant Thor isn’t messing around in Double Feature but he doesn’t mind giving Mamie Eisenhower a good time. Lord knows she needs it….
