It’s a whole new world in Fear the Walking Dead season 7 as the rise of the super apocalypse makes it so that the survivors have to think about more than just walkers.
Now the air is full of nuclear fallout and the quest to survive means every person for him or herself. Here’s how to watch the season 7 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead, titled “The Beacon.”
What to expect in Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 1 “The Beacon”
Need a season 6 refresher? At the end of season 6, maniac cult leader Teddy (John Glover) launched a series of missiles from the U.S.S. Pennsylvania and at least one of them was armed with a nuclear bomb. Now that the fallout is all over the blast radius, survival has gotten a lot tougher for everyone.
The season 7 premiere features a look at Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) and how he’s managed to survive since the bombs went off. He’d sought shelter in a warehouse stocked to the brim with priceless art and artifacts thanks to historian Howard (Omid Atahi) and now they’re running the show.
As we’ve seen in previews, Strand is tired of following Morgan’s lead and he’s going to do things his own way from now on.
