Does Coop die in the All American Season 4 premiere?

Since that fateful ending to the All American Season 3 finale, there’s been one question on our minds all summer? Would Coop die in the All American Season 4 premiere?

A few fates were left on the line in the All American Season 3 finale. Of course, the most pressing concern was Coop. Would the series decide to write out one of the best OG characters?

I didn’t want to hazard a guess on this one. After all, the loss of a main character certainly shakes things up. But it also risks losing some of the audience. Would All American risk that?

What happened to Coop during the premiere episode?

Does Coop survive All American Season 4?

The episode didn’t reveal the full truth immediately. That’s not surprising. We have to be left hanging on, but the lack of grief from Spencer and Patience did give a lot away.

Coop didn’t die during the All American Season 4 premiere, but it was very close. She had to go into surgery and she fell into a coma for a few days after that. When she woke up, everyone was relieved, but it didn’t take long for Patience’s relief and guilt (for not believing Coop about Mo in the first place) to turn into anger again.

Coop told the cops that she shot Mo, which killed Mo. Didn’t Preach shoot her? Well yes, but if Preach admitted to that, he’d be jailed since he was out on parole. It doesn’t matter that Preach’s actions were to save Coop. Knowing this, Coop decided to lie for Preach.

Of course, this is sure to come out at some point during the season. There’s no way a big secret like that stays a secret. This is a teen drama, after all!
