New movies in theaters and streaming to watch this weekend: November 5, 2021

Everybody’s working for the weekend, or they are working to see the most anticipated Comic Book movie of the year (Sorry, Spider-Man). Your favorite time of the week has arrived, where we share the best new movies in theaters and films available on streaming services that you don’t want to miss.

We know how hard it can be to find something to watch and maybe you are TV show’d out and looking for a new movie, well we like to make it easy by sharing a list of all the new movies coming out in theaters and on streaming services.

Another week, another highly anticipated film is scheduled to arrive, well several highly anticipated films, that is. First, we have the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Eternals. How will it tie into the fourth phase? Who will be the big players? and what about those post-credit scenes? All these will be answered in short order.

Next, we see Kristen Stewart trying to chase down an Oscar nomination in her latest role in Spencer, portraying Princess Diana. Last, we see Netflix enter the fray with an ensemble cast in the world of a western. So many good choices this weekend!

Chloé Zhao fresh off her Oscar-winning film Nomadland enters the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Eternals. We’ve all begun to trust the work of Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios after producing hit after hit after hit. Soon the world will find out that Zhao created a gem of a film!

The arrival of Kristen Stewart happened long ago for me, but the world will see what a lot has said about her over the years that she is a PHENOMENAL actress. Her performance as Princess Diana in the film Spencer is the year’s best. The film is a limited release, but find a theater to check this one out in.

When westerns are done right, they are fun to watch and Jeymes Samuel’s The Harder They Fall is a kick-ass good time. I can’t wait for everyone to see what he brings to the table with this insane ensemble cast.

Finch is coming out on Apple TV+ this weekend and when you watch the trailer, you get the I Am Legend and Chappie vibes to it, but honestly, it really is a good little movie that I can’t recommend enough.
