The world of Bob’s Burgers is one of the most confusing cartoon universes. In particular, it’s kind of odd to see the show deal with two different types of weather. Recently, we saw the show’s Halloween episode, and this week, they’re headed to the beach. It’s confusing, to say the least, but the show has managed to poke fun at this idea many times.

Even so, Bob’s Burgers does an excellent job of featuring tons of seasons aside from summer. It might not be an easy balance for them. In addition, the show does a great job of featuring the kids in multiple different settings. Whether it’s the restaurant, at school, or having fun elsewhere, we’ve watched as the Belcher siblings go all over the town and wherever they can walk to.

In particular, they end up getting into some wacky situations when they get paired up with Mr. Fischoeder. As eccentric as he is, his energy really matches up with the Belcher kids. Most notably, his relationship with Louise is especially interesting. It’s one of the more underrated pairings the show has featured so it’ll be nice to see them reappear in Season 12 together.

If you haven’t watched Bob’s Burgers episode, “Beach, Please,” there will be spoilers from the episode. If you have, be sure to let us know your favorite moment from the episode.

Here’s everything you missed in Bob’s Burgers episode, “Beach, Please.”

The episode begins with the Belcher siblings going to a beach clean-up headed by Mr. Frond and Louise thinks it’s going to be tons of fun. It all comes crashing down around her when Louise sees how disgusting the beach really is. Louise runs into Mr. Fischoeder and she explains that he could motivate her to actually clean the beach so no one will be mad at him for causing the beach to be so dirty.

Louise explains that they’ll all get free footlong taco dogs if they clean the beach but not everyone is so excited. Louise decides to go back for more from Mr. Fischoeder and he agrees to give them all a free day at the Wonder Wharf including snacks. The rest of the kids working with Louise start working incredibly hard.

It’s all going well until Louise catches Mickey trying to dump trash for Mr. Fischoeder and has to tell everyone else what his plan was. Louise eventually comes up with a plan to exact some revenge by posting a picture. Thus proving to everyone that Mr. Fischoeder doesn’t care about the animals that live on the beach. It backfires on her as he decides to make his workers clean up the beach but he still gives them footlong taco dogs. The episode ends with Tina telling Louise she did a good thing despite her not getting the full Wonka.

Is Louise the smartest of the three Belcher siblings?

After watching the episode, there was one question that plagued me and it was if Louise is truly the smartest Belcher sibling? Looking at the current episode, she has a bad idea to start with before she eventually turns things around. Even though things don’t work out completely in her favor in the end, Louise still makes sure the group gets something and even gets a compliment from Tina.

However, that’s not the first time Louise was the mastermind behind a plan. Just in Season 3 alone, she’s responsible for scaring Logan in “Ear-sy Rider,” helping to exact revenge on their bullies in “Full Bars” and even helping to best Mr. Fishoeder in “The Kids Run the Restaurant.” While Gene and Tina have come up with some good plans, it’s clear Louise is the mastermind of the siblings.

Most notably, Louise isn’t afraid to think outside of the box. Putting the hot sauce in their underwear in “Full Bars” was incredibly clever. Meanwhile, she was also responsible for the kids not getting caught in “The Kids Rob A Train” along with even becoming a mole in “Tina Tailor Soldier Spy.” No doubt Gene and Tina would have given themselves up before any of these plans would follow through.

Despite being the youngest, Louise is definitely the smartest Belcher in a lot of ways. She’s not afraid to take chances, make deals, or exact revenge when necessary. While she might not always be careful, her way usually yields results. Between the three of them, Louise is definitely the one with the most street smarts. However, seeing her siblings stand beside her throughout the series is what gives Louise her power.

For Louise, having her siblings there is good for a few reasons. First, she has other people who will almost always go along with her plan. Second, she has a pair of guineas pigs and third, she knows that Gene and Tina will always be there for her. Overall, Louise might be the smartest Belcher sibling but things won’t work out as well for her if Tina and Gene weren’t there.

Bob’s Burgers airs Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
