When it comes to girl power, most people don’t automatically think of Bob’s Burgers. Rightfully so as the show is named after Bob. Nevertheless, Bob’s Burgers does manage to feature a plethora of interesting and lovable female characters.

Obviously, we’re not saying Bob’s Burgers is perfect. The show does have a lot to catch up on and a few things to change. Even so, the core group of Belcher women is iconic. With Linda at the helm followed by Tina and finally, Louise, the show does an excellent job of featuring a unique group of personalities.

While Linda, Tina, and Louise are an underutilized trio, the show does give them some time in the spotlight every once in a while. Their best outing has to be in Season 8 and that’s “V for Valentine-detta” which was equal parts girl power and family fun. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait much longer as Linda, Tina, and Louise are back together in Season 12 to hopefully help give us some much-needed serotonin.

If you haven’t watched “Loft In Bedslation,” there will be spoilers from the episode. If you have watched, be sure to let us know who your favorite trio on Bob’s Burgers is.

Here’s everything you missed on Bob’s Burgers episode, “Loft In Bedslation.”

The episode begins with Linda reminiscing about her childhood which is followed by Louise and Tina arguing over Louise using Tina’s desk. To try and make up for it, Linda decides to make Louise’s bed into a loft bed so they can fit a desk in there. Surprisingly, Louise, Tina, and Linda are all gung-ho to make the loft bed happen which results in them working together to make it happen rather than waiting for Teddy or asking for help.

Things start off shaky as the hardware store doesn’t have what Louise wants but Louise, Tina, and Linda all decide to start building the loft bed regardless. It all goes great until Linda trips, resulting in her elbow getting injured. Linda refuses to give up and decides to instruct Tina and Louise on what to do. Bob calls from the restaurant and Linda explains that even though she’s hurt, they’ll finish the bed for Louise tonight no matter what.

Linda finally admits that they won’t finish it and they all get in bed together. Linda starts to get emotional because she wanted to complete it for Louise but falls asleep a second later. Hours later, Linda is awoken by Tina and Louise working on the loft bed together. She’s so proud and excited for them but forces them to nap and wait on Teddy to finish the bed.

Why aren’t there more Bob’s Burgers episodes focused on Linda, Tina, and Louise?

The major takeaway from the episode for me was the lack of Louise, Linda, and Tina moments featured in the series. While they don’t get grouped together often, those three somehow manage to have a good time and it’s obvious they’ll put each other before themselves. Even so, the show rarely showcases their dynamic and would rather focus on duos or other trios within the series.

The major reason I don’t think the show focuses on them much is that it isn’t easy to mesh all of the personalities together. Louise, Linda, and Tina are all completely different people. Yes, they’re family and they have things in common. However, they all have different priorities and ideas of what they think is fun. While Linda might be focusing on writing a new song, Tina could be writing an erotic friend fiction while Louise is hatching a plan for revenge.

Additionally, the show seems to steer more towards the Belchers siblings being grouped together as it’s a lot easier and funnier that way. No doubt Louise and Tina would have a harder time trying to convince Linda to go along with their plans than Gene. While the relationship isn’t exactly strained between the three, it’s obvious why the show has to be careful in how they showcase the relationship between Louise, Linda, and Tina.

Ultimate though, it would be nice to see the show pairing Linda, Louise, and Tina together more often. The plotline doesn’t always have to be bonkers but rather be something all of the girls can do together. I think it would be fun to see Louise, Linda, and Tina try to get some revenge on Gene and Bob or face off against them. It’s a long shot but Bob’s Burgers has done crazier things.

Next. Bob’s Burgers recap: Is Louise the smartest Belcher sibling?. dark

Overall, seeing Louise, Linda and Tina paired together is a rarity but when the show does it, they knock it out of the park. Bob’s Burgers might focus on other trios more frequently but the ideas for Louise, Tina, and Linda are endless. Hopefully, they realize how fun these three are together and decide to group them together more often. If not, we at least now have two episodes to help satisfy our craving.

Bob’s Burgers airs Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
