The 118 head back to the hospital for an emergency during 911 Season 5, Episode 8. There’s an explosion in the place, and naturally, that means it’s going to be all hands on deck. There’s a personal element to the story, though.
Michael and Athena turn up to the hospital explosion. They need to know one thing: is David okay.
It turns out that David was in surgery at the time of the explosion. Nobody knows where the explosion happened or if there are any casualties just yet, but that doesn’t stop Michael from worrying.
How does Athena manage it on 911 Season 5, Episode 8?
Michael says something in the promo that stands out. He doesn’t know how Athena does it day in day out. It’s clear that he’s talking about Bobby literally running into burning buildings.
We’ve seen Bobby face his fair share of dangerous situations. Just look at the time with the radiation leak. He worried for a long time that he would have radiation poisoning and cancer because of it. Athena was also deeply worried about that. They got through it, though.
Athena knows that Bobby is good at his job. She also trusts the people who work with Bobby to look out for him.
It’s only understandable that Michael is more worried about David than Athena will be about Bobby. David is a surgeon and not a firefighter. And he was also there when the explosion went off.
