Now that the Christmas season is underway, it goes without saying that families everywhere are more than ready to tune into, arguably, one of the best animated Christmas films to have ever been created, The Polar Express.

The 2004 film, starring none other than legendary American actor Tom Hanks, is a movie that you absolutely have to make a tradition to watch every year, and if you’re willing to do so, you definitely have to know just where you can stream every second of this Christmas magic.

Is The Polar Express on Netflix?

At this time, Netflix is not the place to visit if you would like to view The Polar Express.

Though the site is home to hundreds of Christmas films such as The Christmas Chronicles, A Boy Called Christmas, and The Princess Switch, the streaming platform does not currently have this iconic movie and we are not too sure when or if it ever will.

Is The Polar Express on Hulu?

Unless you have the Live TV extension included in your bundle, unfortunately, Hulu isn’t the place to go to either.

Like Netflix, Hulu, too, has tons of holiday watches. Dear Santa, Christmas on Holly Lane, and Pixi Saves Christmas are just a few of the many titles on the site, however, The Polar Express is not yet available to stream without an additional add-on.

Thankfully, there is one place that is streaming the 2004 film and it is, you guessed it, HBO Max! Upon subscription, you will be able to view all 1 hour and 40 minutes of this Academy Award-nominated film.

Additionally, if you don’t mind dropping a couple of bucks, you can rent or purchase the film on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube Movies, and Vudu. But if you would prefer to save that change for Christmas shopping, then The Polar Express is available to watch for free with the television networks TNT and TBS once it airs at its scheduled date/time.

As we stated before, The Polar Express is a Christmas movie you certainly have to watch every year, and now you can begin the tradition this 2021 holiday season!
