Don’t Look Up features a star-studded cast and a brilliantly directed story. The movie is in theaters on Dec. 10 and will have a streaming release on Dec. 24, until then eager movie fans want to know all they can! Don’t Look Up is rated R, but why? Who can watch the movie?

The movie follows Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), an astronomy student who, along with her professor Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio), makes the discovery of a comet orbiting within the solar system on its course towards Earth. Kate and Dr. Randall rush to alert others, but no one seems to care.

From what we’ve seen in the trailer, the movie offers a lot of comedy despite the dark theme. The cast is amazing, joining Lawrence and DiCaprio are Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Ron Perlman, Tyler Perry, Meryl Streep, and many others.

Where can you stream Don’t Look Up?

Netflix has come a long way since it began to offer access to network shows and DVD disc rentals. Still, I don’t know how the streaming platform managed to score this movie with such a talented and reputable cast!

Don’t Look Up will be playing in theaters first, beginning on Dec. 10, but it will then be available to stream on Netflix free with your subscription beginning on Dec. 24. Where will you be watching the movie?

Why is Don’t Look Up rated R?

Will the movie entertain everyone in the family? Probably not. Not the kids, especially due to its rating. The movie may not feature gore and violence, but it will have: some sexual content, drug content, language throughout, and graphic nudity.

Don’t Look Up has a running time of approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes. Will you be watching the movie in theaters or will you wait for the film to arrive on Netflix to enjoy it from home?
