Showtime shares killer playlist: All the songs in Dexter: New Blood

The Dexter sequel is exciting, nostalgic, and features one heck of a soundtrack! Want to add some of the songs to your playlist? Showtime has delivered! The network has shared all of the killer tunes featured on Dexter: New Blood. 

In Dexter: New Blood, we meet a much more stressed and depressed Dexter Morgan who has gotten very sloppy. On one hand, you can’t blame him for being so messy, it’s been a long time since he allowed his dark passenger to take over. But the old Dexter Morgan is who we fell in love with in the first place and we want him back! So get it together, Dexter! Don’t listen to Deb.

Speaking of listening, fans have been paying close attention to the songs played in the series, particularly the latest episode (at the time of this writing), episode 5, “Runaway.”

What are the songs in Dexter: New Blood?

When a Dexter fan took to Twitter to ask which songs played in the party scene with Harrison, Showtime was happy to share THIS cool playlist with the caption “If anyone is looking for some killer tunes” and the link.

The playlist is on Spotify and features some truly great hits. Some of our favorite songs on the playlist include “Heart of Glass” by Blondie, “WHATS POPPIN” by Jack Harlow, and “Ketamine” by Princess Goes To The Butterfly Museum (which features Michael C. Hall in the official music video — fun fact).

The Spotify playlist from Showtime notes that it will be updated weekly, so we assume new songs will be added after each episode airs.
