What is The Tender Bar about?

The Tender Bar, directed by legendary actor George Clooney, is officially coming to Amazon Studios tomorrow.

Film buffs have been patiently waiting for this release ever since the film’s star, Ben Affleck, received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the 2022 Golden Globe Awards. The Tender Bar synopsis

Based on the 2005 memoir of the same name, The Tender Bar is a coming-of-age film about a young boy named J.R. who comes from a dysfunctional, broken yet loving family.

As a child, he was taught all sorts of things by his doting Uncle Charlie who raised him in place of his unknown deadbeat father. However, as he grows older, J.R. becomes more aware of the effects having an absent father has on his love life, his relationship with himself, and his journey to become a well-known writer. More on the official synopsis via IMDb, here:

With being directed by Clooney, the cast for the film consisting of talented actors and actresses certainly doesn’t come as a surprise. The cast for The Tender Bar features:
