11. Debris

How many seasons: 1

Network it aired on: NBC

How it ended: The Debris season finale blew everything we thought we knew up. The world is so much larger than we ever thought with all the revelations about the alien spaceship.

It was clear that this would be where the show would continue the storyline. There was far more to explore when it came to the spaceship and how it had blown up across the western hemisphere.

We also learned that Brill had a lot more knowledge than he was initially letting on. Why was that? So many questions and now we get no answers.

Why it still stings: In a way, this was one of those TV show cancellations that wasn’t surprising, but it was disappointing. The live ratings were low, and we know that NBC isn’t the best at giving TV shows a chance. That didn’t stop us hoping for more from this sci-fi series.

We’re constantly asking for something new and exciting. We like to see something different on our screens. And just as we get it, the shows seem to be put on the wrong network or in the wrong timeslot. We’re left disappointed with the live ratings and a quick cancellation. NBC didn’t give this one a chance, and it stings that’s the case.
