Hotel Transylvania 4 is a sweet and fun farewell from Dracula

Hotel Transylvania 4 repeats the same gags and tricks, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Because it’s these very same gags and tricks that made kids fall in love with the franchise in the first place. Like the saying goes, why fix what isn’t broken?
Hotel Transylvania 4 aka Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, brings back Drac and the Hotel crew, but this time, to our small screens at home. In the movie, after feeling like Drac will never accept him for who he is, Johnny decides to become a monster using Van Helsing’s invention. This device turns monsters into humans and humans into monsters. Surely, now that he’s a monster, Drac will welcome Johnny with open arms, right?
Wrong! Things not going according to plan is part of the fun, so when Drac accidentally becomes a human and is stripped off his powers (along with his closest friends) our favorite monster crew race across the globe to find a cure.
Hotel Transylvania 4 is LOL-fun for the whole family
On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie isn’t exactly a winner, and I get it! It replicates a lot of the gags we’ve seen before, but kids can’t get enough. And honestly, parents can’t, either. These movies have always provided jokes for both young and older audiences. Fear not, though, the humor, like in previous installments, is always kept light and never crosses the line. If you enjoyed the other movies and found them okay for your kiddo to watch, Hotel Transylvania 4 will be loved, too!
The movie features many LOL-moments and once again steps outside of the hotel to give audiences a fresh, new setting, while staying within its familiar grounds. And at the heart of it all is another sweet message of acceptance.
Hotel Transylvania 4 says farewell to is audience as it is the final chapter in the Hotel Transylvania franchise. And while it’s not its strongest, it serves as a great goodbye letter to its younger audience and wraps up every character’s journeys nicely.
