7 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week: January 24

It’s the glorious case of Mondays, are you happy? No? Well let’s change that a little folks. Like we do each and every week, below, we share all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Jan. 24, 2022.

We all try to stay ahead of the streaming giant, but the amount of content they are dropping weekly often seems impossible. I will have to admit, folks, it won’t get much easier as they have a loaded slate this week. But, on the plus side, they have a wide range of content for all ages.

One of the week’s big releases is the Netflix Original Film, Home Team. The film is based on New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton. It follows the aftermath of his suspension in the NFL and how he reconnects with his family by coaching his son’s little league team. When the trailer and photos were released, there were many questions about why Kevin James was cast as Sean Payton, I too, have questions, but I do love a good sports movie.

The other big release of the week is the TV show with the longest title in television history in The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window. The show stars Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, a woman who witnessed a gruesome murder, or did she? Are you excited about this one? I am.

We got birds that are angry, Kristen Bell who may or may not have seen a murder and a head coach trying to find himself all dropping this week.
