The whole world remembers when Tiger King premiered on Netflix. Everyone, watching or not, was talking about it at work, online, at school, you name it! So it’s no surprise that several spin-offs and follow-ups have followed. The latest is Peacock’s take on the true-crime story, Joe vs Carole. 

Now, Peacock may be a new player in the streaming wars, but it is quickly climbing up the ladder! The first series from the platform that captured my attention was Dr. Deatha crime-drama based on a true story. It’s truly captivating. If you enjoy the genre, you have you check out Dr. Death. Peacock’s next big project is taking on the Tiger King himself. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming drama.

Joe vs. Carole synopsis

With so many documentaries already out about Joe Exotic, what new material does Joe vs. Carole offer? The Peacock crime-drama is based on the second season of Wondery’s Over My Dead Body podcast, which details the criminal case of Joe Exotic, the former zookeeper.

The trailer teases that audiences only know “half” of the story. Yet, the trailer only shows what we’ve already seen from other documentaries and takes on the story. Still, as a Kate McKinnon fan, I’m interested in checking it out and giving the drama a chance.

Joe vs. Carole release date
