The Fallout is now streaming on HBO Max. The movie tells a powerful story, and we recommend you check it out, but we do understand it’s not for everyone. Even though the movie is triggering for some, you can tell creators were careful piecing it together, they even curated a fitting soundtrack. Which songs are in The Fallout soundtrack? We list them here!

The HBO Max movie follows Vada Cavell (Jenna Ortega) after a school shooting takes place at her high school. What I love is how the story doesn’t focus at all on the shooter. We don’t care about his motive (does it even matter??). We don’t even see him. The spotlight is on Vada and a couple of her friends, each of them dealing with their trauma differently. Audiences get to see the effects of trauma and how much this has changed Vada’s life forever.

Maddie Ziegler, Niles Fitch, Will Ropp, Lumi Pollack, Julie Bowen, Shailene Woodley, John Ortiz, and others, also star.

If you’re up for it, check out the movie this weekend, streaming on HBO Max. And if you love the music, the soundtrack list is below!

The Fallout movie soundtrack

Here are the songs featured in the movie:

  • “Conversations” by Juice WRLD
  • “Oh My God” by Sevdaliza
  • “Flexin” by Tkay Maidza
  • “Gone” by BC Fog, featuring Maisy Stella
  • “Tap In” by Saweetie
  • “Stupid” by Ashnikko, featuring Yung Baby Tate
  • “Braid” by Perfume Genius
  • “Brooklyn Love” by Lolo Zouai
  • “Shallow Grave” by Wilma Vritra
  • “Claudion” by Helena Deland
  • “Spaghetti” by Che Lingo
  • “While You Sleep” by Maisy Stella and Lennon Stella

Which of these songs will you be adding to your playlist? I love how the tone of the songs changes, starting with “Conversations” and finishing up with “While You Sleep,” which is such a sweet song! And while I love bright and happy endings, I’m glad The Fallout doesn’t show this. We know Vada will, eventually, be okay, but she needs time. It’s a very realistic ending.
