EPIX has announced a lot of exciting things ahead, but I’m a horror fan at heart! So, naturally, what stands out the most from the long lineup of series they are working on, is The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders.

When it comes to horror stories, I can’t think of a more popular one than Amityville. From novels, documentaries, movies, and more. The story continues to be shared, new discoveries are told, and it just never seems to get old. Horror fans who feel the same are always down to watch and rewatch the captivating story.

What is it about this story that is so captivating? I believe it’s the fact that it happened to a seemingly normal and happy family. Knowing someone could do that to their own blood is frightening and I can’t imagine a bigger sin or betrayal. What do you think it is about Amityville that keeps drawing audiences in?

The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders coming to EPIX

The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders will be a four-part docuseries that will follow the famous horror tale. EPIX shared that, if you Google “haunted house,” the Amityville home is the first result to show up.

Even though many believe to know the whole story, EPIX promises fans new haunting facts. As the new release shares, what fans don’t know “is that there’s a real murder behind the haunting story and then there’s the supernatural tale of unexplained horrors.”

Executive producers attached, include Lesley Chilcott, Blaine Duncan, Brooklyn Hudson, and Amanda Raymond, Rhett Bachner, and Brien Meagher. B17 Entertainment is attached as the production company.

More, soon coming to EPIX

Two other docuseries to get excited about, are:

Women Who Rock, a four-part docuseries that pays homage to women in music. It celebrates female artists. And NFL Icons season 2, which is a documentary profiling NFL icons in players, coaches, and change makers.

EPIX truly does have something for everyone coming soon! Which docuseries are you the most excited to check out?
