Our favorite warrior in a beskar helmet is currently back in the Star Wars television universe on Disney+. However, it’s not on his own show as Din Djarin and The Mandalorian season 3 will not be premiering in February 2022.

Right now, there is no timetable for when the newest season of The Mandalorian will premiere. Filming started towards the end of 2021 so the show should not arrive on Disney+ anytime soon.

However, there is good news for Din Djarin. Many fans were ecstatic to see the return of the Mandalorian in the fifth episode of The Book of Boba Fett. At first, many fans believed Mando’s appearance would just be a cameo. However, the episode focused solely on Mando and his quest to reunite with Grogu.

To the surprise of many, Mando’s appearance was not a one-off appearance. He was a focal part of the sixth episode of The Book of Boba Fett. In a way, these appearances are serving as a good bridge between season 2 and season 3.

After his time on Boba Fett, when will The Mandalorian season 3 return to Disney+? We have some predictions.

The Mandalorian season 3 premiere date is unknown

As previously mentioned, The Mandalorian will not be on Disney+ anytime soon. However, it is expected to premiere sometime in 2022. Since it started filming not long ago, we don’t believe we’ll see this until late 2022.

There are two other Star Wars shows on the 2022 slate that should arrive before The Mandalorian season 3. They are Andor and Obi-Wan KenobiAndor, which takes place five years before the events of Rogue One, tells the story of Cassian Andor and his early days as a rebel spy. Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place ten years after Revenge of the Sith with Obi-Wan on Tatooine.
