HBO has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated third season of Barry. Buckle up, the sure-to-be-accelerating season will premiere on April 24 on both HBO and HBO Max. Here’s what we learned about Barry season 3 during HBO Max’s TCA panel.

The wait for Barry season 3 has been a long one, to say the least. In fact, it has been so long since we last saw Barry Berkman on our screens, that we may need to rewatch the first two seasons to remember where we left each character. It’s also always nice to rewatch previous episodes before the release of a new season as a refresher. And if you have never watched Barry, not only are you missing out, but you have more than enough time to catch up before season 3 arrives. Trust me, once you start an episode, you won’t be able to stop.

HBO kept fans in the dark for a long while when it comes to the status of Barry season 3. There’s also the unexpected pandemic that interfered with filming and production. Now that we finally have a premiere date for the third season, we can begin to speculate what’s next.

Barry season 3 premieres on Sunday, April 24

Just as we predicted, the announcement for Barry season 3’s release date has come in this month! We were also expecting the third season to premiere early 2022, so we’re glad that will be the case! We should be getting a full-length trailer in the coming weeks. Who’s excited?

Barry season 3 stars Bill Hader, Alex Berg, Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, and others. Hader is also the co-creator, Director, Executive Producer of the series and he has truly surprised fans who were hesitant about Hader pulling off such a dark role. Needless to say, Hader does so flawlessly.

Mark your calendars! Barry season 3 will arrive on April 24. Stream the first two season now on HBO Max
