Peacemaker episode 8 soundtrack: What songs play in the season 1 finale?

Peacemaker season 1 is a wrap and what an explosive finale that was! The HBO Max series packs on the action, humor, and surprises. Additionally, the DCEU series features an awesome soundtrack, which is what we are here to discuss, the Peacemaker episode 8 soundtrack!

The superhero genre does many things well, and one of these things is providing audiences with some great music. However, I think James Gunn should get more credit when it comes to Peacemaker‘s soundtrack. Marvel fans still have the Guardians of the Galaxy songs in our playlist, so when Gunn took on the DCEU series, we knew it was going to be a lot of fun and we would be adding new songs to our playlist. And we were not wrong.

One thing is for sure, we’ll never be able to listen to “Do You Wanna Taste It” by Wig Wam without thinking about Peacemaker and the hilarious opening. I’m glad the season 1 finale also included the song in a slow-mo scene, it rounds up the connection.

The season 1 finale features a very shocking cameo! HBO Max managed to pull off the big guns with the Justice League, well, two members — Aquaman and Barry. That was a lot of fun to see!

As many of you already know, the HBO Max series has been renewed for a second season. As soon as we learn more about the premiere date, we’ll update this post! Our release date prediction for season 2 is early to mid-2023 but, again, we’ll come back with the official release date once we learn more. When do you think the new season will arrive?
