The past two episodes of Euphoria season 2 have been very emotional and triggering. That said, it was nice to get an episode that provides fans with laughs for a change. My favorite from this week are “Oops (Oh My)” by Tweet Feat. Missy Elliot and, of course, “Holding Out For a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler. Great songs and used very wisely here. I particularly enjoyed Nate’s segment in the play. Lexi is a real hero for adding this scene in and humiliating Nate. However, now that Nate has broken up with Lexi because of it, what will happen? Cassie looks ready for vengeance, but, honestly, I don’t see her as a threat!
I loved learning more about Maddy, she’s a true and loyal friend and episode 7 just makes us all appreciate her more. I’m glad Lexi included those memories in her play. Speaking of memories, how sweet were those throwback moments between Rue, Lexi, and Fezco? I’m so worried about Fezco. Something had to happen that made him miss the play.
Next up is the season 2 finale and we are NOT ready! It airs on HBO and stream on HBO Max on Feb. 27.
