The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is finally here and, we got to admit, the new Disney+ series is absolutely fantastic!

Not only did we get to see some of our favorite characters return to our screens once more but we also got to see the beginning of Penny Proud’s journey to womanhood, something that, when we were younger, we hoped to see so we could know a few helpful tricks to cope with growing pains.  Fortunately, we no longer have to hope for Penny’s help as we now have it in our grasp.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder synopsis

Much to her father’s dismay, Penny Proud is growing up—fast. She’s beginning to learn what it is to be free; free to do what she wants, free to do say what she wants, and, more specifically, free to be with whomever she wants to be with. However, her father, Oscar Proud, is simply not ready to see his baby grow up, hence why he does everything in his power to stop it. At least, he tries to.

How will Oscar cope with his baby girl growing up? What major milestones will Penny reach now that she’s a little older? And, most importantly, will they ever see eye-to-eye?
