Gotham Knights has been picked up for pilot at The CW. If ordered to series, the show will be the latest addition to the network’s roster of DC TV. A la Batwoman, the show will have the specter of Bruce Wayne and the Batman woven into its story. As such we expect at least to see the man in profile, whether as the billionaire himself or as his alter ego.

However, the real focus of the series is Bruce’s adoptive son. In the wake of his father’s murder, he’ll form the unlikeliest of alliances with the children of Batman’s enemies. It seems the Bat isn’t the only one who left behind a legacy through a child. This alliance is made possible due to these young, potential villains being framed for a crime they didn’t commit. No one knows who killed Bruce, but they swear they didn’t.

Along for this ride is Carrie Kelley, Batman’s Robin. While we’re not sure what her relationship with Bruce’s son will be like, we do know that as the two kids closest to him, they’ll need each other to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Not much else is known about the Gotham Knights pilot besides the show’s premise and recent casting announcements that shed some light on what to expect. Here’s what we know about the cast!

Gotham Knights cast

  • Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes
  • Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley
  • Fallon Smythe as Harper Row
  • Tyler DiChiara as Cullen Row
  • Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela
  • Misha Collins as Harvey Dent/Two-Face

Character descriptions

Turner Hayes is the adoptive son of a billionaire. He’s working hard to live up to his father’s name, but he’s still struggling with the world of wealth he wasn’t born into. While the casting announcement didn’t mention who Turner’s father is, we suspect it’s Bruce Wayne.

Carrie Kelley is The Gotham Knights‘ Robin. She’s plucky, fearless, and just what the city needs as long as she can wrap up crime fighting before curfew. Carrie’s also idealistic and potentially a bit reckless if the description of her being “the first to rush-in” is paired with impulsiveness.

Harper Row, aka Bluebird, is an engineer whiz. She’s also bisexual and prone to dying her hair blue. The only person that Harper trusts is her brother, Cullen. If there’s one thing Harper could have, it’s the ability to fix what’s broken in her and her brother’s lives.

Cullen Row has spent his whole life being polite and agreeable, but it’s gotten him nowhere. Not with his abusive parent and not with anyone else. Tired of accommodating the thoughts and opinions of others, Cullen has decided he’s going to live his life how he sees fit. That includes fighting his own battles as a young trans teen coming into his own. Cullen is also clever and can easily read people.

Duela is without a last name but in the comics she’s referred to as Duela Dent. While she’s claimed to be the daughter of several Gotham villains, including Joker, she’s actually Two-Face’s child. Whether that’ll hold up in this live-action adaptation of her character is unknown. Duela was born in Arkham Asylum. She’s described as being abrasive, a little unhinged, and as a brutal fighter who has skills as a thief.

Harvey Dent aka Two-Face is a man who needs no description, however, given Duela’s presence in this series, he’s likely “the most dangerous man in Gotham” who also happens to be her father.
